About Us

At Shower Happy Soaps, we make clean, nourishing soap that we genuinely love to use ourselves.

We started making soap when our favorite bar disappeared from store shelves—and because we were tired of spending $20 or more on a single bar of soap. What began as a practical solution quickly became something we love: creating beautiful, high-performing soaps from thoughtfully chosen, non-toxic ingredients.

Every product is tested by us first. If we don’t love the way it feels, lathers, or smells, it doesn’t make it onto our website. Living in Colorado’s dry mountain air—along with Andrea’s notoriously dry skin—has set a high standard: every bar needs to leave skin feeling soft, nourished, and happy.

We make soap because we love the process, from formulating each recipe to sharing the finished bars with others. Our hope is to someday turn Shower Happy Soaps into our full-time work. Until then, we balance our soap-making with full-time day jobs and create in our spare time.

When we’re not working or making soap, you can find us hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, boating, or cross-country skiing with our dog, Spidey.
